Gary Lynn Floyd (Music Director)

Gary Lynn Floyd is an American singer-songwriter who connects straight to the heart and lifts up a room with his inspirational lyrics and soulful style.

A native of Houston, Gary began picking out melodies on a piano at four years old, and he’s been making music ever since. Today he writes and records deep and meaningful music, and shares these songs like a gift to audiences across the country. His style is a mix of pop, rhythm, and blues, combining silky vocals with powerful lyrics.

In his newest album My88keys Vol. 1, Gary goes unplugged and invites fans to lean in close for an intimate session with simply the artist and his piano. The first single, “Love Cover Me,” sets the tone with its inspirational and poetic message of love and light. “Kindness wash over me / Make me a symphony / Play every note you can find.”

Jami Lula It is the rare artist that is larger than the canvas they occupy. Their mission is bigger than the stage they stand upon. Their commitment and contribution extend beyond themselves to encompass all who come into contact with them. Jami Lula is such an artist. Born and raised in Detroit’s arts and musical hotbed, Jami made his way to Southern California—into the melting pot, the creative stew where creativity, music and transformation meet. Landing the gig at LA’s Musician’s Institute as a vocal professor, his explanations and leadership provided something unique for his students and his community: a quiet and powerful sense of purpose, balance and giftedness. Music is larger than just making sound. It is the heart of the Spirit walk, the key to creative change in the world. Amy Bishop Amy's voice is a combination of the smooth of the pavement and the gravel of the road... Amy began her illustrious music career singing around campfires, block parties and in a church choir. Amy reluctantly shared the lime light with her brothers Joey and Jimmy. The three of them would try to out sing each other Sunday after Sunday. Their harmonies soared higher and higher until only dogs and god could hear them. Amy has an instinctive ability to craft stories into song and deliver them with the sincerity and passion of a best friend - qualities that make Amy an undeniable Canadian talent. Amy was born a singer, and grew into a songwriter through a lifetime of experience. She puts it all together in engaging performances that show off her range and power. An evening with Amy Bishop delivers rollicking "ain't life grand" road songs, soulful versions of love-gone-wrong ballads, and folk-based acoustic numbers that allow her naked vocal beauty to shine through.
